This place worked perfectly for a quick bite and it was much nicer than anticipated for a random stop. Fried gyoza and the Fashion roll were great! I’d love to be back for a hibachi- looks like people at the hibachi table were enjoying it!
We came with 4 adults and 4 children. Everyone had a great time. The chef was wonderful. The server and hostess were very friendly. Would definitely rerun.
Had hibachi lunch here - the chef was very skilled and entertaining! Food was delicious. My kids had the sushi which was fresh and beautifully presented. The lunch specials were also reasonably priced. Located just inside the square one mall, lots of free parking.
Came in at 3 pm for teppanyaki. Immediately they checked our temperature and asked that we sanitize. We were seated quickly and the hostess was very nice. Our chef was skilled and very impressive. The food was top knotch. We will definitely be back
Had a great time! Lunch prices are very reasonable. Surprised nobody has mentioned that they don’t have yum yum sauce! That was the only negative. Our chef was funny and upbeat and made sure we all had a great time!
Food was great,so fresh that sometimes it’s cooked right at your table. The mushroom soup was tasty all the while packing a small hint of spice. The salad was fresh with a tasty house dressing. The chief was amazing,he had all the tricks with great tasting food. The experience is something to remember and a reason to return. With such a first time experience I am definitely coming back with my family and will enjoy watching it all unfold all the while my food is being prepared. Post script- my next visit will provide more pictures of what is offered as an appetizer as well as plated food presentation.
We have lived near Saugus for 6 years and have been to Square One Mall many times. We never stepped in to Tokyo and always passed by saying we want to eat there. We'll finally after a nice message up stairs at Xut Health Center went down and had a wonder lunch at Tokyo. It was truly the freshest Sushi I have had in the immediate area. They also are a Japanese Steak House and cook on a hot grill in front of your table. As I sat I listened to one of the cheifs cook for a family. He was so funny and engaging, he had the whole family participating. It was very nice. I recommend this place for nice sushi and a drink at the beautiful bar. Or a wonderful family dinner with your family. Enjoy!!! Awesome food.
